ETE (Elementary Teachers Training)
ETT or Elementary Teacher Training is a diploma certificate course. ETT course duration is 2 years. Students who have completed their 10+2 in any of the streams and apply for ETT course. Students who are interested in teaching can apply for the ETT course.
ETT course trains the students on being a professional teacher in primary school. ETT course is the most basic course available for students interested in teaching. ETT course provides an insight into the necessity of teaching, its importance, and ways of improvising teaching.
Minimum eligibility is to have minimum marks in intermediate. There are many schools and educational institutions which take in ETT graduates for the posts of a tutor, primary school teacher, daycare teacher, etc. ETT graduates have the option of continuing their education further through B.Ed.

ETT Course Eligibility:
Candidate for admission to the first year of ETT course is required to pass the higher secondary examination or equivalent. The cutoffs for admission to this course may vary from institute to institute
Various institutions conduct interviews and require a minimum percentage of 12th class for filtering the students and selecting the deserving candidates.
ETT Course Admission:
Candidates need to apply online and register with the required information. Generally, eligible candidates need to appear for an interview, which comprises face to face interviews conducted by the University.
All the candidates who are shortlisted will be called for a personal interview based on marks obtained in the written test. Candidates are selected based on marks in 10+2, written test and performance in a personal interview.
