Kim Ung-Yong was a South Korean professor and a famous kid prodigy, who held the world record Guinness World Records for the highest IQ, at 210.

Early life

Kim Ung-Yong was brought into the world on March 9, 1962, in Seoul, South Korea. His father was a physical science professor and his mother was a medical professor.

Just at the age of one, Kim had learned the Korean alphabet along with 1,000 Chinese characters by reading Thousand Character Classic - a 6th Chinese poem. At three years of age, he started to solve calculus problems. During the same age, he wrote an essay book in German and English language, which proved the bestselling book of that time. By the age of five, Kim could speak Korean, English, French, German and Japanese languages fluently.

Fuji TV Appearance

At five years old, Kim appeared on Fuji Television in Japan and stunned the people by solving differential equations. He showed up on Japanese TV again on November 5, when he solved difficult differential and integral math problems.

NASA and Schooling

When he was eight years of age, Kim went to study atomic physics at the University of Colorado. He went to work for NASA, where he worked for 10 years. After getting back to South Korea, Kim was needed to officially finish South Korean schooling to get a job. He completed his elementary, middle, and secondary school degrees in just two years.

He later joined Chungbuk National University where he completed his civil engineering post-graduate degree and Ph.D. As of 2007, he was teaching at Chungbuk National University. On March 14, 2014, he became an associate professor at Shinhan University and became VP of North Kyeong-gi Development Research Center.

IQ

At four years old, Kim scored IQ 200 on a youngster IQ test typically allowed to seven-year-old.
